The Monday club was the inspiration of the late Bill brown and is essentially a church Maintenance working party. Yes party is the correct word because we all seem to enjoy working together and often ending up in a local hostelry.

In the summer we mostly tend the ground, do any outside work (e.g. painting, clearing out the gutters etc.) and in the winter months the inside jobs predominate.

It's all very relaxed and even if you think you don't have any DIY talents you should consider coming along. Incidentally there are many and diverse skills in the congregation so there will always be someone to ask.

We don't meet every Monday but rather as the mood takes us and we spot things to do. We usually give a notice out in church on the Sunday.
